Generating risk profile inquiry report from Dun & Bradstreet
Introduction
Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) is a provider of credit information on businesses and corporations. Integrating D&B with Exact Globe Next provides additional features where you can turn credit and risk profile information into insight to develop conclusive and fact-based strategies. However, you must first have a subscription agreement with D&B in order to use their services.
This menu path is available if you have the function rights To include D&B Account validation and/or To inquire D&B Risk profile.

Fields
You can filter the accounts that you want to display. To search for the accounts, you can define one or more of the following criteria and click Search. The accounts that match the defined search criteria are then displayed.
This screen is divided into the following sections:
- If New is selected at Account type.
Search
Click this to search for accounts based on the defined criteria.
Clear
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Account type
Select New to search for the risk profile of a new account (where DUNS is not in the account maintenance). Select Existing to search for the risk profile of an existing account (where DUNS is in the account maintenance).
Display based on
Select Company name, DUNS number, or Phone to display the accounts.
Country
Type or select a country code to display accounts with this country code. This is mandatory.
Company name
Type a company name to display accounts with this name. This is displayed if Company name is selected at Display based on. This is mandatory.
State/Province
Type a state/province name to display accounts with this state or province name. This is displayed if Company name is selected at Display based on.
DUNS number
Type a DUNS number to display accounts with this DUNS number. This is displayed if DUNS number is selected at Display based on. This is mandatory.
Phone
Type a telephone number to display accounts with this telephone number. This is displayed if Phone is selected at Display based on. This is mandatory.
- If Existing is selected at Account type.
Search
Click this to search for accounts based on the defined criteria.
Clear
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Previous
Click this to return to the previous page.
Next
Click this to display the next page.
Rows
Type the number of rows to be displayed for each page. If you set the default number of rows to 10, then 10 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 10 rows listed, the Previous and Next buttons become available.
Account type
Select New to search for the risk profile of a new account (where DUNS is not in the account maintenance). Select Existing to search for the risk profile of an existing account (where DUNS is in the account maintenance).
Type
Select an account type to display the accounts that belong to this account type. You can choose from Supplier, Associate, Suspect, Lead, Customer, Reseller, or Prospect.
DUNS number
Type a DUNS number to display accounts with this DUNS number.
Address line 1
Type the first line of an address to display accounts with this address.
Country
Type or select a country code to display accounts with this country code. This is mandatory.
Account
Type an account code to display accounts with this account code.
Name
Type a company/account name to display accounts with this name.
State/Province
Type a state/province name to display accounts with this state/province name.
Buttons
Risk profile inquiry
Click this to connect to D&B and get an account validation and risk profile. This is enabled if you have function rights To include D&B Account validation and/or To inquire D&B Risk profile. For more information, see How-to: Getting D&B account validation and risk profile.
Risk inquiry log
Click this to display the log files for all accounts in Microsoft Excel. All the log records will have only the DUNS number filled for new accounts and will have the account code and DUNS number filled for existing accounts.
Account D&B risk profile report
Click this to display all XML files returned by D&B from the data packages for all accounts in Microsoft Excel. This is enabled if you have function rights To inquire D&B Risk profile and/or To include D&B Account validation. The risk profile report will have only the DUNS number filled for new accounts, and will have the account code and DUNS number filled for existing accounts.
Open
Click this to go to the account maintenance screen of the selected account. This is displayed only when Existing is selected at Account type. This is enabled when you select an account and have the function rights and menu path rights for maintaining accounts.
Close
Click this to exit.
